young goodman brown questions

1. The purpose of this story is that to stay on the path of god and not go to the dark side
2. To me faith in the story doesn't fit her personality because she's just there and hasn't nothing to do with faith. Young Goodman brown doesn't have faith in her.
3. The pink ribbons signifies faith in the story
4. At first it was his figment of his imagination because he wasn't looking deeply to what he was following and seeing things in the trees, but he soon realizes that its real and he's been siding with the devil.
5. The old man was the devil, an old lady shout its the devil, also the minster can't even talk to him for sided for him.
6. The snake is represented as temptation and evil. The devil offers him the staff to support him on the journey. If the conscience or mind lead him forward in the journey he would've stopped in the very begin.
7. His life would be different by having his faith and being on the good side. He lost everything he loved, he would still have faith if he stayed home. Yes he would trust his wife and townspeople
