Final
As a learner in this course I've been able to analyze stories to a different perspective then i had before. By reading texts and listen to discussions has advanced my thinking because I get to hear different opinions from others and use those to come to conclusions and by listening to peoples opinions I can use them in everyday life and make good statements. In my own point of view, why take a side, and start an argument to "shape the world." Real people wouldn't take a side they will take an agreement where both sides meet. Rushdie wanted this to be heroic type quote because in this everyday life people want to seek out the frauds, start arguments and "shape the world." He wants people to be brave and stand up and speak up like there is no time to be pity or to be sad on not promised days just get up and make a difference. As the way I see these quotes, I see them as not the same. You cant compare everyday life with school. Once you are 18 you're on your own because that's when you chose your path, in school they try to put you on a certain path that will "benefit" you. Forget the benefits push someone to there limit to be the absolute best. In the story of "The conscience of a Hacker" a line says " Damn kid probably copied it. They're all alike." Modern teachers prejudge a kid because they don't have the looks on being smart. The students rarely get the chances on proving their capabilities without being punished. In the story of Young Goodman Brown he was giving chances on being on the "right path."This is a dull pace for a beginning of a journey.'' There is never a pace on your path, why half fast something and getting the job "done" but doing it wrong or just going at your own pace and getting the job done and right.
